These terms apply to Leave Your House. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and understand its limits.
App Store EULA
Leave Your House is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the app unless a different EULA is provided in App Store Connect. These Terms add app-specific safety, subscription, privacy, and support terms.
What the App Does
Leave Your House uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to shield selected apps, categories, and websites during lock sessions. The app unlocks those shields when you complete a real-world goal, use Mercy Rule, or use Emergency Unlock.
iOS does not allow third-party apps to literally lock the entire phone. Leave Your House uses Apple's approved app/category shielding system.
Safety
Emergency Unlock is always available from the active lock screen. Scheduled locks only start near Home when the app can safely confirm location. If location cannot be confirmed, scheduled locks skip instead of starting.
Do not use Leave Your House in a way that could prevent access to important apps, emergency services, safety tools, or work/school requirements. You are responsible for choosing blocked apps and allowed essentials. Keep Phone, messages, maps, medical, work, school, or other must-have apps available by selecting them as essentials when needed.
Subscriptions
Leave Your House Pro is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. Pro unlocks unlimited saved locations, unlimited enabled schedules, and unlimited Mercy Rule uses.
The subscription is $19.99/year with a 1-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. After the trial, the subscription renews yearly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in App Store settings. Apple handles billing, cancellation, refunds, and payment information.
Privacy
Leave Your House is local-first and does not operate a backend. See the Privacy Policy for details.
No Warranty
Leave Your House is provided as-is. Scheduled callbacks, Screen Time shielding, and location behavior depend on iOS permissions, Apple frameworks, device state, and real-device conditions.
